On the island are several chests buried under sand. By now you should have received the View Mode and Pikachu Mode. Using the View Mode (how to use it is described in the Controls section) helps Pikachu dig up the chests and open them. When the sign pops up and Pikachu is finished inspecting the chest, tell it what the sign says. The sign should say either thunder shock, thunder jolt, or thunder. Try to open as many chests possible before the day is over. The treasures in the chests can go from bottlecaps to chocolate coins.

While you're on the island you can knock down some coconuts using thunder jolt. You can also grab some bananas, which will appear in your bedroom when you collect one, and you can collect spiny shells and beach nuts. To get the beach nuts, throw spiney shells at the stone walls at least three times, or have Pikachu use thunder jolt on it. Beach nuts are worth about 250 PikaPoints, and spiny shells are scattered all over the sand.
