When you are out on your journey with Pikachu, you can also collect items for your bedroom, but only certain items. When you first start out, your bedroom is pretty much empty. Below are some items you and Pikachu should gather for your room decoration, and the items' whereabouts. Words in red are words to say to Pikachu, green are the Professor's words, and italics are my comments. You should be able to get the items in any order, so the items are listed in alphabetical order. There are a total of 23 decorations.
banana - A tropical fruit "Be sure to throw
the peel away." You'll
find the banana peel is worth nothing, and you'll find it at the
Pinata Party too, and if Pikachu steps on it, it will get mad.
The banana itself is located at Cobalt. Just pluck it off the
trees. Pikachu focuses on the banana when you give it to it. In
the bedroom, it should be located left of the door.
bird feather - A feather from a
Pokemon "This
light feather should fly pretty well." Pikachu will throw this when you let it hold
it. You can't find this feather anywhere, but if you're lucky,
Pikachu may find it for you, usually in Ochre or Springleaf. When
you're in your room, you'll find this feather sitting on the
desk.
blue marble - A blue ball of glass "I used to play with
marbles, too, when I was a kid." Sometimes when Butterfree are hovering about
some areas, they'll drop boxes containing marbles. Pikachu must
use thundershock to break the boxes. Also, the blue marble can be
obtained from Squirtle if you bring back 3-4 Poliwag in Olivine
of the Play Days level. These marbles are also found at the
Pinata Party when the pinata is broken. This will be in the left
shelf at home.
bolt - An item used to
fasten things "That's just junk." You can find this yourself in Ochre of the
Play Days level in a hidden cave full of magnets and stuff.
Sometimes Pikachu will find it. The bolt will be sitting in the
right shelf of the bedroom.
chocolate
coin - A
coin made of chocolate "Don't mistake it for a gold coin!" You'll earn this coin in the Pinata
Party, and you'll also find it in the chests of Cobalt. The
chocolate coin will be sitting in the right shelf when you get
hold of it in your bedroom.
copper coin - A coin made of copper
"It's
worth about 10 PikaPoints." This coin is found in Cobalt chests. It sits
with the chocolate coin on the right shelf in your bedroom.
daisy - A small, white flower
"It
doesn't stand out much, but it's a cute flower." This can be found all over Viridian
in the Daring Days level. It will sit in the flower pot to the
left of the sliding door.
lily - A large, white flower
"I
think this one smells nice, but I am not sure." You'll find lilies scattered
throughout all the Springleaf areas. It should sit on the window
sill to the right of your bed.
magnet - A magnetic piece of
metal "It's
a pretty cool shape, but it's just junk." You can find the magnet in Ochre of
the Play Days level sitting with a couple bolts. The cave it sits
in is hidden, and I can't really pinpoint the area for you. The
magnet sits in the right shelf of your bedroom.
marble - A ball of glass "I used to play with
marbles, too, when I was a kid." This marble... Pikachu finds it for you. In
the bedroom you'll find it sitting in the right shelf with your
coins and Magnemite pieces.
petunia - A white flower "What an elegant
looking flower." Okay,
in my picture it's purple, but really, it looks more purple that
white to me. You'll find petunias all over Viridian, and you can
collect them in the Daring Days level. Petunias will be in the
left flower pot next to the sliding door.
pirate flag - Symbol of a pirate
ship "That's
a prize from the pinata party." You'll earn this from Venusaur when Pikachu
breaks the pinata. It will be hung up on the wall between your
shelves.
pirate sword - A sword once used by
pirates "That's
from the pirates' plunder on Cobalt Island." The sword should be found on Cobalt
and I believe you can also win it at the Pinata Party. This sword
sits on the right side of the shelf above your bed.
red marble - A red ball of glass. "I used to play with
marbles, too, when I was a kid." Sometimes when Butterfree are hovering about
some areas, they'll drop boxes containing marbles. Pikachu must
use thundershock to break the boxes. These marbles are also found
at the Pinata Party when the pinata is broken. The red marble
will be in the left shelf at home.
ruby - A hard red gem "You can see through
it. Isn't it beautiful?"
You'll receive the 5000 PikaPoint ruby when you successfully
babysit the Caterpie in either Viridian areas. The ruby sits with
your gems and marbles in the left shelf of the room.
sapphire - A hard, clear blue
gem "That's
an amazing color of blue." You can get the sapphire by finding all the
Poliwag in Olivine on the Daring Days level. Make sure you get
them to Poliwhirl, though! The sapphire is with all the other
gems and marbles on the left shelf in the bedroom.
silver coin - A coin made of silver
"It's
worth about 100 PikaPoints." You'll get the silver coin from Squirtle when
you find all the lost Poliwag in the Play Days level. You can
also find it at the Pinata Party and Cobalt Island areas. The
silver coin is on the right shelf in the bedroom.
Telescope - An item used to view
the night sky. You can't touch this item at all. When you're
very good with Pikachu, Professor Oak will send Pikachu on an
errand to buy a Telescope for about 20000 PikaPoints (hope you
know how to save up PikaPoints fast!) and when you receive it
view the night sky with it. After seeing the end credits, you'll
find the Telescope sitting on the book shelf.
tissue - Thin, light paper "Be sure to clean it
up after scattering it about." This is already in your room. Sometimes
Pikachu will run over to the tissue box and pull tissue out one
by one. The tissue box is to the left of the door next to the
banana.
topaz - A delicate yellow gem
"It's a
very valuable gem that's really hard to come by." This is very difficult to get. You
have to head over to the Cobalt area in the Daring Days level and
head for the fort-like structure on the rocks. There's a huge
chest at the top and you need Pikachu to open it. The topaz sits
on the left shelf.
toy sword - A toy sword made of
wood "En
guarde! I used to play with toy swords when I was little." You can win the toy sword at the
Pinata Party and find it in chests at Cobalt in the Daring Days
level. The toy sword sits on top of the shelf above your bed.
trumpet - A loud, brass
instrument "This
makes a pretty loud noise." The alternative to the harmonica, the trumpet
can be bought as a souvenir from Abra's Shop in Springleaf of the
Play Days level. Tell Pikachu to play it. This item sits between
the bed and the boom box.
yellow marble - A yellow ball of
glass "I
used to play with marbles, too, when I was a kid." Sometimes when Butterfree are
hovering about some areas, they'll drop boxes containing marbles.
Pikachu must use thundershock to break the boxes. These marbles
are also found at the Pinata Party when the pinata is broken. The
yellow marble will be in the left shelf at home.
