Trips

Level 3: Pikachu's Daring Days >> Springleaf

This Springleaf is a little more difficult than the Springleaf back in the Play Days level. You can't get at all close to the Oddish or Gloom or they'll run from you, so you'll have to have Pikachu check if they're real. Here's a hint on how you can tell: the real Oddish and Gloom twitch a little bit every few seconds. When Pikachu's carrying the watering can or jug over to the plants, make sure it doesn't trip over any Diglett because if it does, it loses all the water and will have to refill it. If Diglett is in the way, tell Pikachu Diglett and Diglett should burrow underground again. When you're watering plants, watch out for the Doze flowers (those pink, petal-spinning flowers) otherwise Pikachu will get confused and won't listen.

If you're in need of PikaPoints don't forget to collect strawberries and sunflowers. In this Springleaf there are also peaches hanging in the trees. Have Pikachu knock them down using thunder jolt and collect the peaches for a good 200 PikaPoints or more for each.

A strange thing about this part of Springleaf is the mysterious Oddish. Professor Oak mentions something about it when you first enter Springleaf. According to what I have done, every time Pikachu waters the mysterious Oddish it would slowly grow bigger and bigger. On my game pak, the Oddish is enormous, being over three times the size of Pikachu and bigger than the Vile Plume!
